It looks like I'll be forced to use NTL for my new flat's internet connection. The fact that their website isn't accessible isn't a good sign of the likelyhood that they'll provide a decent service.

But refreshingly NTL no longer require you to own a television set, or to subscribe to a cable TV service you're not going to use. I don't think I get a static IP address though, which is going to be a problem.

Fun Japanese word of the day: konpyuutaaaato, ‘computer art’, from English. Looks crazy when written like that, but if you try to read it then it actually comes out right. Sort of.

Wow, my new phone (a Nokia 6230i) can see my blog! Even has all the CSS styling and images. This miniblog doesn't show up though. It seems that iframes aren't supported.

What a bastard the weather is. It pisses down all weekend, and now when I've got to work it's nice and sunny. I could be out there with my camera right now… Bugger.

Wow, finally managed to get my computer working again, and doing NAT on the new NTL connection. Now I can fetchmail those 900 emails that are waiting on my webserver.

Just took the annual web design survey that AListApart do. I don't realy consider myself to be a web designer, but I have been doing a lot of HTML and CSS lately.
