Shiny new graphics card
Sunday 1 at 13:26
I've bought a new graphics card: an nVidia FX-5500. My old nVidia
card died when the fan got jammed. This one has been running for a
while without problems, and its XV support is much faster. My one
quick test of the 3D stuff was pretty impressive as well, but I don't
really need that for anything.

Parkinson Building
Sunday 29 at 16:06
After a lot of dicking about I've finally figured out how to get pictures
out of my mobile phone via bluetooth on Linux. I'll write up how I did
it at some point, but for now here's a picture of the Parkinson Building
in Leeds I took a few years ago (yeah, my phone's been clogged up with
old images for that long, so I couldn't take any more without deleting
the old ones). Most of the pictures are quite grainy, but that's to be
expected, especially with ones like this taken at night.

Steve Bloom Exhibition
Tuesday 31 at 04:53
There's a great exhibition of nature photography in Millennium square in
Leeds, with photos by Steve Bloom. Particularly good at night, since
it's nicely lit.
