The Devil's Interval

Friday's guests at The Grove were The Devil's Interval, a group of three young singers. They drew some younger people in to the audience as well, which has to be a good thing.

They get their name from an old term for a tritone, a chord consisting of three notes, each separated by a tone.

They sing nicely, and I think their voices work well together. Jim also does some rather jolly stuff on the squeeze box. Check them out if you get the chance.

I happened to have my camera with me, and since these guys are rather more photogenic then most folk groups I asked if I could take a picture. Not one of my best snaps, but then I'd had rather a lot to drink by the time I took this.

Strange, there appears to be a bare-knuckle boxing match going on in the field outside my flat. Wish they wouldn't make so much noise about it.
