Yesterday I bought 1Kg of kimchi. I wouldn't normally get that much, but the Chinese supermarket has got four different varieties now. Normally I get ‘mat kimchi’, but this time I've got ‘pogi kimchi’ and ‘gat kimchi’.

I've republished this ‘miniblog’ using Daizu CMS now. I've replaced the old RSS feed with an Atom one, and redirected the old one to it. I've also switched to including the recent items on each page with an SSI rather the object element.

Went to Otley folk club last night at Korks Wine Bar. It was singers night, which is only 50p to get in. The wine bar actually had proper beer, and there was much more diverse music than the Grove or Topic.

Just had a go with the deborphan program. It's handy for finding old Debian packages for libraries you no longer need installed. I've cleared away tens of megabytes of old stuff already.

Went to a folk night at the Abbey Inn last night, but the music was very much amplified. We went outside in the end.

The Linux port of Adobe's Flash player version 9 is finally available as a beta. They never did port Flash 8 to Linux so we've been stuck with 7 for years. And this one has a stand-alone player, great for testing stuff.

Just took the annual web design survey that AListApart do. I don't realy consider myself to be a web designer, but I have been doing a lot of HTML and CSS lately.

Strange, there appears to be a bare-knuckle boxing match going on in the field outside my flat. Wish they wouldn't make so much noise about it.
