This is hasci, a crufty interactive hexadecimal and ASCII file viewer. This package also contains too other programs, called ‘hasc’ (with no ‘i’) and ‘vt2html’. The first is useful for getting a quick colour-coded dump of a small binary file, sent straight to stdout (it's not interactive). The other is just a bit of fun for converting the output of ‘hasc’ into HTML.
hasci is free software, released under the GNU General Public License. See the file COPYING for details. This software comes with NO WARRANTY.
hasci has only been tested on GNU/Linux systems. The ‘ncurses’ library must be installed for hasci to work.
If you have any problems installing hasci, let me know. There is a list of known bugs (there are quite a few) at the end of the man page.
